First Responder

The lights in the windows flickered on when the front door quickly swung open. The gravel scratched beneath her feet as she fled towards the top of the desert hill from down the street. Peering down when she reached the top, sitting in view was the cause of the loud explosion in a heap of fire and mangled metal. She shined her flashlight over the scene, franticly looking for anyone at all.
